Voluntary Work
Some projects offer opportunities for voluntary work. This may be short or long term, some may offer accommodation or even a cash allowance.
Hands On Hong Kong (HOHK) strives to be the first point of contact for individuals in Hong Kong who want to be involved in community service.
It is a non-profit making organisation dedicated to helping charities meet their volunteer needs and providing volunteers with flexible and diverse service opportunities that address the social and environmental issues facing the Hong Kong community.
Pang Soong nature trail development - Thailand
The trail is currently being repaired and upgraded. This entails clearing paths, cutting steps into the mountain side, building bridges and other crossing features, putting ladders in place where needed, and installing an iron way (rock face access system).
There are also tasks related to forest replanting and forest augmentation.
CONSIDER has an ICT project under way. There are ten computer centres which are presently not functioning fully. They would like female volunteers who can teach young girls at these main centres for about two to three months.
Volunteers could also work on the logistics of their Disaster Resilient housing Project.
Volunteers required to act as technical supervisors for CONSIDER's housing projects.

Take part in a variety of activities from teaching to building to working in medical centres in Kenya.

Teachers of IT and Computer Studies required to teach at this home to help those whose lives have been affected by HIV/AIDS.
Bukit Harapan children's home - Malaysia
Volunteers would be welcome to help out at this special children's home in beautiful Sabah.
